Loving the quality posts over at fellow sex/art/fun bloggers ponyXpress.

MadameXpod - Here’s something a little different! The models pick their favorite music, plug in the headphones and catapult themselves back to a dangerously erotic moment in their memory, or forward to their wildest fantasy. MadameXpod then freezes those moments with photography.
1981er looks like a web based magazine which is about to take off. Check out their 1st issue of paintings and photos by David Ostrowski: They are building my canvases. Cheeky! I love it!
Check out Intelligent Erection, a new site from Mike and Mandy where they hope to make it easier for the smart surfer to find quality (and fun) through select web picks. Nice to see we’re listed!
Do you have a Myspace page that’s Sex in Art related? Send it through we might just link it up. Our friends at Lost At E Minor have a myspace page, add them!
Too cool for school. Get lost for hours and hours in Nothing Magazine
“Like porn, but classy” The Urban Dictionary has defined the word ‘porntage‘ as a montage of pornography but montages are classy, so these porntage desktops are random Internet porn images turned into classy pop art. Nice! We approve! Love the ultra bright desktops but damn how hot is the T-Shirt!
Artmam is a website which offers a selection of works from artists mainly from Europe for sale. They have a very nice erotic section which showcases numerous works from artists that you’ll struggle to find work from elsewhere.
Erotic Artists.org is a free online photo gallery where anyone can display photos of their erotic artwork. Definitely one to bookmark as you’ll need much more than just a few hours to go through all the work that lives on the site as well as the other spin-off sites.
Just a reminder that submissions close for the $10,000 adultshop.com Erotic Art Prize on December the 1st!!!
Australia’s first national erotic art prize was launched in 2005 through a partnership between AdultShop and ARTRAGE, with the inaugural prize going to Linda Erceg’s ‘Punch Line’. AdultShop now seek proposals Australia-wide for an exhibition that will feature works short-listed for the second adultshop.com Erotic Art Prize of $10,000 to occur in Perth, Western Australia in March 2007.
New and existing works of an erotic nature will be considered. Artist fees for selected works will be provided to assist with the transport of works. To find out more, visit www.art.adultshop.com
OK, I’m not really sure what is going on at this site, but it kept me amused for AGES. Ovarium is an interactive art site, which allows you to pop up multiple movies on the screen, some a bit sexy, some a bit weird, some a bit wrong. The coolest thing about it is setting up the different images running side by side. Very interesting indeed.
Polanoid are attempting to build the biggest Polaroid picture collection on the planet.
UPLOADit is a simple random gallery experiment which allows you to upload an image to the site (created by the boys at Stolen). PhoneBin is similar but the images being presented are submitted directly from mobile phones. Both project sites are totally uncencored which makes for some pretty nasty imagery being uploaded. Nice ideas though.
I love Ian Haig’s work, it kinda makes me feel uneasy, but warm and fuzzy at the same time, and I can’t quite pinpoint why. He works in a bunch of different mediums from sculpture to painting and there are a couple of little animations that are worth a gander on his site as well.
I found Annie’s site so informative. :) Its an awesome read. Annie Sprinkle is a self proclaimed “prostitute/porn star turned performance artist/sexologist”. Having passionately researched and explored sexuality for thirty years. She creates her own unique sex films, photographic work, and teaches workshops and college lectures.
There’s heaps of interesting stuff to check out on her site, well worth a browse.
