New York based Norman Shapiro’s blog profile reads: “I’m 77, one eyed, celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary. My wife is my best friend and my greatest fan. I almost went totally blind this year, survived the threat (a detached retina) and see as good or better with new Rx glasses. No diminishment of my artistic productivity.
