Anna Tsubaki
Traditional only in terms of genre, the art of gifted Ukiyo-e artist Anna Tsubaki is both ultraistic and ultramodern in theme and content. Check out her site. What an intro. Anna Tsubaki rocks.

Brooklyn based photographer Patrick de Warren, with some classy, sexy work.
Beautiful work by Japanese Artist Fumi Minnie Nakamura (based in California since she was 10). Lovely lines and dreamy imagery, great to see her exhibiting all over the place.
Ideafixa issue 2 is out! An online “magazine” where contributions are made from talented photographers, artists, designers and illustrators from all over the world. Be sure to check it out!
Check out the beautiful watercolour work of French illustrator Alexandra Compain-Tissier, she’s getting out there too, dig around her (cool) site and look for photos of her work blown up large in shop front windows. Nice.
Born in New York and intrigued by the unusual. Check out the strange and wonderful artwork of Lori Earley.
DesignKicks is an amazing creative community site created by German’s print and online magazine “Der Spiegel” with various interfaces on hand (you can even fly through photographs with their “Scape” feature). It doesn’t even matter that it’s not in English (it’s in German), the interface is intuitive and playful which makes it easy for anyone to view some great photography, illustration and design.
Beautiful work by New York based illustrator Autumn Whitehurst. I have this illustration of her honey girl framed in my kitchen. Brings a smile to my face every time.
Fashion lovers should check out Iconique Fashion, Art and Lifestyle Magazine, an online fashion, lifestyle, beauty, trends and art magazine which features virtual catwalk shows, news, editorials, beauty, trend blogs and a whole lot more. You’ll need the latest flash plug-in to really appreciate the whole experience, great sounds and animated visual explosions of this site!
German artist Thomas Hauser is fully into taking photos of panties.
Gelitin is comprised of four artists. They met first in 1978, when they all attended a summercamp. They have been playing and working together. From 1993 they began exhibiting internationally. Some of the stuff they’ve documented looks pretty whack!
You might as well just get the web site of Vienna based photographer Raphael Just when you look up the word “fashion”. Fantastic studio shots and his web site’s so well executed too (a pleasure to use).
Check out Carlee Fernandez’s “bear studies”. Nyaaw. I love it. Shame though that the images are so tiny.
Quality. I’m a massive fan of Australian fashion photographer Troyt Coburn’s work having followed his progress from early work in trash mags. Vogue and beyond! World domination! Go Troyt!!! (damn nice site too, love the big impact images and the funky navigation system).
