Steven Miller is a stunning photographer with a refreshing sense of humour, his bunny series is well worth a gander, as is his “milky” series. Technically stunning, and highly humorous. His website is also very nicely set out and showcases his work beautifully.

Juul de Vries is a Dutch photographer who creates some very special photomontages. I love how his photographs are colour graded, his prints utilise transparent retouching dyes which result in images with an aura of the unreal. (via).

Coining a new style: PERSPECTVIST - Todd Kurtzmann produces some very original and intriguing pieces. He makes small scale sculptures to look as if they were hundreds of feet in size, or alternatively as if they were normal size figures viewed by someone very tiny.
Magical and refreshing, we are sure you will be intrigued by his work.

OK, this one’s a bit more hardcore than usual, be prepared to check out skin heads, skater boys, and punks all enjoying male company in intimate ways. This is in your face pin up art, and personally, I totally dig Drub’s work, heaps of colour and humour. It’s very out there and comical at the same time, but it aint going to be everyone’s cup of tea.

Thank you Mister Manning… Michael Manning is an artist in the US, who has created a series of graphic novels based around the Spider Garden. It is described as the “home of Shaalis the Sacred Androgyne and the Metal Spider Clan - an organic self-sustaining environment in which erotic experimentation is raised to an artistic level and the interplay of dominance and submission brings a new kind of freedom…”
Some of Michael’s artwork from the novels can be viewed on this site, along with his designs for tattoos, costume design and photography. His work is nothing short of amazing, inspired by Japanese animation, fairy tale book illustartion, American and European comix and mythology of many cultures. We hope you enjoy his work as much as we did at Sex in Art.

Total respect to Kiriko Moth, a fantastic female artist with beautiful beautiful work. With Japanese overtones and pieces that remind me of stain glass windows i’ve seen in my childhood, she’s grabbed me through from her stylised work. Kiriko refers to her art:
“I don’t believe my art has a message.
I prefer the aesthetics; I like to create works that are pleasing to look at. Maybe I have nothing more to say than that.”
We’ll let her work speak for itself.

“Originally from Denmark, Torkil Gudnason approaches photography with a no-nonsense, Scandanavian sensibility. When asked to list three things he can’t live without as a photographer, his answer is appropriately succinct: light light light.”
Love his work, sexually charged and his site’s a pleasure to use too.

Too cool for school. Each issue of Monster Children Magazine down in Australia explores the best of surf, skate, snow, art, photography, design. The image above was from a Calendar they produced using some damn fine ladies from Chic models and artwork from Jonathan Zawada. Be sure to grab one in their shop.

I struggled to find any information about Craig Mahood. His website showcases three of his sculpture pieces that I found extremely intriguing. The urinal in particular was very interesting indeed. We’ll endeavour to find out more and post on him again when we have further information.

Jeffrey K. Potter creates disturbing, innovative artwork has been a pervasive presence in modern fantasy for over twenty years, winning numerous awards and gracing the covers of countless magazines and books. What’s perhaps more amazing is that all of his pieces use photographic and darkroom techniques only.

Most commonly reviewed as a Pinup Illustrator/artist, Vincent does some very funky, very sexy stuff. His paintings are very emotive and remind me of old school 70s iconic images. His site Ram Star Visuals isn’t too neatly set out, but we can forgive him as it’s not his craft.

Goddesses, Sirens, and Mermaids is American Todd Gary Essick’s attempt to unite the grace and beauty of the sea with that of the female form. Nyaw! Dolphins! (via).
