Belgium born artist Wim Delvoye… Wow, I love this guy.
I really dig his series of X rated X Rays, showing two of his friends getting intimate leaving nothing unseen. He also has some very fascinating artworks created from bird houses.
Also of interest is this fascinating article in Time Europe on his latest artwork called, Cloaca, which Wim describes as a “highly pungent comment on the folly of human achievement.”. It is in fact, a poo machine. It gets ‘fed’ a solid meal twice a day, which the machine then processes through a series of tubes, beakers, and added digestive juices and finally produces the remaining solids on a revolving plate… Alright, it’s definitely not all that sexy, in fact its a bit gross and definitely bizzare, but the sheer mechanics of it are fascinating.
Curvy and sweet. Work by Australian artist David Laity.
Check out some of his work at Metro 5 Gallery in Victoria Australia, here and here, or check out some his work which is available to purchase from Chelmer Fine Art here.
Not exactly a definitive collection (please let us know if there is one), but I came across am open thread on a French forum about sex in album cover art and here’s also a link to some banned cover art.
Acclaimed in Italy as the Michelangelo of comics, Tanino Liberatore’s (Born 1953) fondest wish as a child, was to paint naked women (and he still does to this date!). His series “Ranxerox” is a punk, futuristic Frankenstein made of Xerox photocopiers who hangs out with a young girl, together they are a bizarre Beauty and the Beast. Check out a selection of his work on his site.
“95% of the people you see in my photographs are friends, ex girlfriends, current girlfriends, some other assholes girlfriend or some random dudes and a couple fags here and there.”
Merkley’s all rock’n'roll. His artwork (and blog) can be viewed at threequestionmarks, but I came across his photographs on his Flickr site. He’s pretty hairy and he’s got a pretty distinct style: burnt, blurry and over saturated. I like it.
Yes!!! Graphic Design does Porn. Check out American graphic designer Alaska’s cool porn DVD package designs for Hustler in his portfolio.
Ralph Gibson’s been taking photographs since the 60′s. He’s won so many awards for his work and even has his own Signature Series Leica Camera! Be sure to check out his diverse portfolio.
Russian artists Alexander Vinogradov and Vladimir Dubosarsky create surreal colourful works which portray paradise, beautiful women, animals, movie heroes, favorite actors and stars in a dream land that a majority of our planet aspires to. They cast their paintings like a Hollywood movie, using whichever celebrities they want for the composition. For example, the painting above features nude models: Cézanne, Renoir, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas, Manet, Pissarro, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin and Claude Monet!!! Some images and links to more on Indie Nudes.
Go the Jockey Y-Fronts!!! Check out this street Artist’s hillarious Y-Front branding gallery. Also be sure to check out his totally sideways blog.

Matthew Stradling is a UK artist who has the knack for capturing the male nude. Check out his Erotic gallery, couple of comical pieces there.
Peter Miller is an Australian composer/sound-designer/digital artist and brain child behind Perpetual Ocean, (I’m sure he’s also a real top bloke) the creative entity which is Peter’s work in these different mediums.
Of particular interest to us here at Sex in Art, are Miller’s illustrations created entirely from mathematical algorithms. His site states “If you find them offensive in any way, all I can say is that beauty (or obscenity) is in this case most certainly in the eye of the beholder.”
We hope you see the beauty, (and perhaps a little of the obscenity) we saw here.
Wilfrid Wood is a London based artist who specialises in figurines, which he designs, casts out of resin and then paints with an air brush. They’re cute, they’re bizarre and in some cases a little bit wrong. But all are highly amusing. Check out his website here, where you can purchase his work, or visit a this link where he was featured on Being Hunted.
From the team at I Shot Myself comes I Feel Myself, the art of orgasm. A site where you can download videos of ordinary, everyday girls masturbating until orgasm. It’s raunchy, real and, in our opinion, very much worth paying for.
Here’s a couple of small preview videos: preview1 windows media, preview1 quicktime, preview2 windows media, preview2 quicktime
Hint: You’ll have to join up to the Premium account ($25 USD/month) in order to really get the most out of the site. Visit ifeelmyself.com
