“The Babe: It doesn’t matter what she looks like. All women are worth photographing partly or fully naked and it’s just a matter of concentrating on her best qualities. If she’ll willing, do it… just like sex!
The Camera: I’m starting with the assumption that you are shooting with a digital camera. (Nikon just announced it’s discontinuing their film cameras). A photo is a photo…and the digital image is now.”
Michael C Gross is an award winning art director, as well a free lance designer (and all round nice guy!). He’s also into art and taking photography. Of special note is his fantastical guide to photographing naked babes. A must read if you’re into (or thinking about!) taking nude photos, it sure helped me out a lot (w00t! Thanks Mikey!).
Mike also runs MikeyandMandy where he gets to showcase his nude photography, he also has a great blog and Mandy has one too.

French artist Cali Rezo. Check out her emotive site, plenty of work to surf around, very vivid and beautiful imagery. Her Blog (in French) is also worth a browse – I can’t speak French and still found it highly interesting. :)

Fleshy and raw is what i thought when i checked out Naomi Harris’ photography. Her three “Dirty Pictures” galleries, focus on three different subjects, Swingers, Nudes, and Porn Star Academy. All three are a pretty interesting study of anthropology in the nudist domain. Of particular interest and beauty are her portraits of nudists on the beaches in Florida. All that brown skin, reminds me a of leather jacket i used to own.
Her ‘Porn Star Academy’ gallery contains some very interesting images of men and women at work on their respective shoots, a naked porn star chills out between scenes, eating from a take away container, holding hot chips. Another girl squats in front of a mirror to touch up her hair with a straightening iron. These photos tell the story between the action, and they are exceedingly natural.

Head Magazine is probably one of the classier PDF magazines out there at this moment. I find navigating through the issues a little annoying but the content is top notch.

Amy Crehore is an American artist working predominantly in oils. Her paintings are very colourful, and all her work is somewhat cheeky and a little mischievous. I love her drawings in particular. She has a thing for cats and animals which comes through in her work.

Japanese artist Tomomi Sakuba’s work is dark, H.R. Giger and Dave McKean inspired. Some of the messages are questionable but he’s uber talented that’s for sure.

The Painted Anvil. “The Best in Classic Pin-Up and Comicbook Girly art”, shame the site hasn’t been updated in a while but there’s still a decent gallery on there featuring the detailed work of Anthony Guerra and also, one of my fave comic artists Jeff Scott Campbell.

One for the authors and lovers of literature out there. “Pornographic writing doesn’t have to be bad writing. It can be funny, poetic, witty, passionate, powerful, insightful, suspenseful, and intelligent- all the qualities of traditional good writing.. The best can even be sublime, like the best of any art.”. Visit Explicit Literature.

In celebration of Australia’s first ever World Cup Soccer win against Japan last night (Go the Socceroos!!!) we thought we would post something somewhat topical.
Aussie sport heroes have become reknowned from time to time for getting their kit off, and no exception is Australia’s very own National Women’s Soccer team, the Matildas. In 2000 they produced their own nude calendar featuring team members starkers which was sold to raise funds for their team. You can check out scans of the images from the calendar here. Copies of the calendar are still available for purchase from selected outlets in Australia, or contact the team directly on their site.

We’re fans of Vice Magazine. It’s gross, sick, funny and above all, fucked up (in a good way!). Their writing style is crass as fuck and makes you wanna fucking write like they do too (yeah now I feel naughty, and/or stupid… whatever). Anyways, get ready to have a spew, check out issue 11 of Vice Magazine, the photo issue.

Originally from Osaka and now based in Chicago, Mayumi Lake’s POO-CHI images are not what they at first appear to be. Mayumi Lake’s series of color photographs focuses on the armpit (!), presenting this often neglected part of the body in a discomforting new light. Hehe… cool (via. Indie Nudes).

The graphic design and illustration community talks of Jasper Goodall with unanimous respect. He helped to define the look of an era with his work for Levi’s, Dazed & Confused, Nike, Adidas, BMW and, most notably, the Face. His work set a trend in illustration, popping up in music videos, on club flyers, on album covers and in magazines to serve as shorthand for “cool†and was absolutely copied the world over.
His site hasn’t been updated in a while, that’s probably because he’s still rolling around in the millions he made when the time was ripe. Be sure to also check out his sexy bikinis (not to mention the sexy photos!) which was a collaboration with fashion designer Louise Middleton.
