From Spam to Porn to Art
Adam Harvey’s a 24-year-old interactive designer based in New York.
“I started with the idea that spam was becoming such an object of hate, and I thought maybe it could be made into something more enjoyable. I played with it for a while and thought that the best way to display it was with porn as the vehicle,” he says. “It’s kind of like the idea of taking shit and turning it to gold.”
The result is Save As, an art exhibition featuring eight images that “probe the intersection of sex and commerce on the internet,” according to his website.
